Middleton Cooke Farms presents

The Liberation Party

August 6–9, 2026 · 2:00–6:00 PM daily

Philadelphia, PA · Leeway Foundation & Kimmel Center

Private · By invitation only

The Liberation Party is our inaugural in-person gathering — a private celebration of freedom, wellness, and radical love. Sound bowls. Divination. Family constellations. Art. Good food. Sacred community. Philadelphia in August, with BlackStar Film Festival's 15th anniversary as our backdrop and our blessing.

Since 2023 we have held each other in the in-between — the grief, the growth, the becoming. Across screens, across cities, across everything life has thrown at us. We built something real without ever being in the same room.

Now the ancestors say it's time.

This space was always ours. We were always worthy of it. Now we get to stand in it together — in the flesh, in the spirit, in full liberation.

Private. Intentional. Just for us.

BlackStar Film Festival
Our programming runs 2–6pm each day and may overlap with some BlackStar screenings and events. BlackStar's full schedule won't be available until June — we'll share it as soon as it drops so you can plan accordingly. Mornings and evenings remain free for festival programming.
BlackStar hosts a closing party on Sunday night — it's a great time. If you're traveling, consider booking an extra night so you don't have to rush out.

BlackStar registration is handled separately. MCF is working to secure special All Access pass rates — details coming in June.

Why your Support Matters

Individualism is a hallmark of white supremacy. At MCF, we flip the script by prioritizing collective well-being over individual gain. Our mission is to create and protect spaces where Black and Indigenous women and femmes can breathe freely, exist authentically, and experience bliss and pleasure.

Our commitment to this mission is unwavering, and we need your help to bring The Liberation Party to life.

Every donation you make helps us cover costs for curated dining experiences and other essentials for the event, ensuring that no participant pays beyond their travel and lodging expenses in Philadelphia.

How You Can Help

Donate

We need YOU. The individuals who know and trust our leadership, mission and vision and have been following our journey since 2022, are the best kind of donors because you’re showing the world that what we’re building here is important and vital for the future of our collective; Black and Indigenous women and femmes. And if the community believes in this organization then so will the world.
